Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has admitted that the Rossoblu are interested in signing Juventus striker Amauri.
The Brazilian-Italian will leave Turin next month after growing frustrated at a lack of playing time with Antonio Conte’s men.
And Genoa will move to bring in the striker to boost their Serie A campaign for the second half of the season.
"At the moment all I can say is that we’re interested in the player, but there is nothing concrete", Preziosi told Tutto Juve.
"Of course I can confirm that we want to sign him because we believe he is a player to can reinforce our team, but we must speak to him", he added.
And the Genoa supremo does not foresee any problem negotiating with the Bianconeri.
"With Juventus there shouldn’t be any problem because our two clubs are on great terms."
