Arsenal star Alex Song has revealed he is doing his bit to tempt Thierry Henry to return to the club on a short-term loan deal.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has admitted to pondering the option of bringing Henry back to the Emirates Stadium on loan to help cover the loss of Marouane Chamakh and Gervinho to the African Cup of Nations.
And Song would be delighted to see the Arsenal legend, who currently plays in the MLS with New York Red Bulls, return to the club.
"When I see him train, I tease him a little. ‘You can still play with us, you know’?", said Song.
"But he says nothing and just laughs", added the Arsenal man.
"What he has done in his career is incredible. He has nothing to prove in football.
"And now he has the opportunity to give us a hand. A player of his potential, his stature, he’d bring us a lot."
