Lille coach Rudi Garcia has revealed that he is desperately seeking another striker in the January transfer window.

The northern French side are due to lose Moussa Sow to the African Cup of Nations, while Tulio de Melo is sidelined through injury.

And that leaves Eden Hazard and co. without a frontline hitman apart from Polish star Ireneusz Jelen.

It is a situation Garcia intends to remedy.

"We’re looking for a centre forward", said Garcia.

"We have lost De Melo and we will lose Sow", added the Lille boss.

"We can’t play for one and a half months with only Jelen.

"It is [also] possible that we’ll sign somebody on loan."
