Chelsea are reported to have offered winger Florent Malouda to Serie A giants Inter.

According to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, the Blues have contacted the Nerazzurri to inform them that Malouda is available for transfer.

The Frenchman has just six months remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge and has struggled to make himself a first choice pick for manager Andre Villas-Boas.

Malouda has consistently been linked with a number of clubs in recent months, with Russian Premier League side Anzhi Makhachkala and La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid the most serious of the 31-year-old’s suitors.

And Chelsea look ready to allow Malouda to exit Stamford Bridge and the player would surely jump at the chance to join Inter.

Claudio Ranieri’s men have not yet given a reply to Chelsea over whether they would be interested in taking the former Lyon man however, though Ranieri is known to want to bolster his squad in the winter window.

Inter’s answer is expected within the next few days.
