Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has refused to rule out a Premier League title challenge after his side beat Norwich City 2-0 at Carrow Road yesterday.

The win leaves Spurs in third and, despite the gap to both Manchester City and Manchester United sitting at seven points, Redknapp’s men do have a game in hand, meaning the real difference could be as little as four points.

And with Spurs continuing to perform well and keep pace with the league leaders, the title may not be out of reach.

"It’s not impossible", said Redknapp about Spurs’ Premier League title hopes.

"It’s very difficult, but I never said we couldn’t win the league. We just have to keep picking up points and see where that takes us."

Spurs next travel to Wales to face another newly promoted team in the shape of Swansea City, before hosting West Brom in their first clash of 2012.
