Tottenham Hotspur striker Roman Pavlyuchenko is ready to quit White Hart Lane for Anzhi Makhachkala, his agent has confirmed.
The Russian forward wants to enjoy more playing time in 2012 and has struggled to cement a first team spot under Harry Redknapp at Spurs.
A number of clubs have been monitoring developments, although Anzhi appear the only side to have delivered a concrete offer to Pavlyuchenko’s representatives, leaving the former Spartak Moscow man with a decision to make.
And although he was initially cool on the Dagestan giants, that view may be changing.
"At the beginning, Roman ignored Anzhi", said the striker’s representative Oleh Artemov to Tden.ru.
"He was not against moving back to Russia, but he didn’t want to join Makhachkala – but he is tired of a lack of games.
"He has a concrete offer from Anzhi. It is a good and lucrative offer.
"Roman will accept it unless he gets a better offer."
