The agent of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro has denied fielding an offer from Manchester United for his client’s services.

The Brazilian schemer has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, especially in light of the champions’ loss of Anderson, Tom Cleverly and Darren Fletcher to injury.

Sandro has impressed at White Hart Lane since joining from Internacional, but Sir Alex Ferguson has yet to make contact with his representatives or Tottenham directly.

"Much has been said about the interest of Manchester United in the British media, but Tottenham have not received any offers at this time", Sandro’s agent Luiz Paulo Chignall told Bundesliga Premier.

"We haven’t had any offers either, although the papers have produced much speculation."

Chignall however is not in the least bit surprised that a number of sides are taking a close interest in the 22-year-old.

"We know that Sandro is a player of value, who is part of the national team and many teams are inquiring about his situation."
