New Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that he intends to strengthen his squad during the January transfer window.
Money is no object for the Qatar sovereign wealth fund-backed club and Ancelotti himself has been signed to a contract worth some €6M per year after tax.
The likes of Real Madrid midfielder Kaka and AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato have been speculated to be on PSG’s list, while Carlos Tevez has been made an offer to arrive at the Parc des Princes.
And Ancelotti well admits big names could land.
"We will improve the team and we have the means", said the former Chelsea boss.
"We are not talking about our budget, but we want to take advantage of this window to strengthen some areas."
The Italian however will not name names.
"It is not appropriate to say any names as this may raise the price."
