Bayern Munich star Bastian Schweinsteiger has revealed that if he could pick just one trophy to win in 2012 it would be the Champions League.

 

The Germany midfielder is desperate to help the Bavarians to the title of the best side in Europe and is hoping that the current Champions League can see that dream come true.

 

But whatever happens, Schweinsteiger is hoping 2012 is an improvement on 2011.

 

“2011? I can’t claim to have played the best or enjoyed it the most because it was a year with no trophies for us.

 

“I expect and demand much more.”

 

The Bayern star then turned his attention to his target for 2012.

 

“My wish for 2012? I want to win any trophy, but if I had to pick, I would say the Champions League.

 

“I haven’t won it yet and it’s my priority.

 

“Of course, Euro 2012 is a beautiful thought too”, he added.
