New Paris Saint-Germain boss Carlo Ancelotti has stated his belief that signing Florent Malouda and Didier Drogba from Chelsea would be a difficult task.
The pair have both been speculated to be on Ancelotti’s wanted list now he has settled into the Parc des Prince hotseat, but the Italian is refusing to be drawn on where he will lavish the millions PSG are placing at his disposal.
"Didier Drogba and Florent Malouda? I can only speak well of them, I’ve trained them and I have a good relationship with them", said the PSG coach.
"But to get them is another story", added Ancelotti.
"I’m working on a project, but I’m not going to give out any names."
Ancelotti also denied having sent any bids for any player as yet, suggesting that the many media reports which have claimed otherwise are wide of the mark.
"We have not made an offer for anyone yet.
"Everything that comes out [in the press] is wrong. I want to be clear."
