English Premier League duo Bolton Wanderers and Sunderland are tracking Guingamp goalkeeper Mamadou Samassa.
Sources in France have confirmed that the 21-year-old is being closely watched by the pair, although Guingamp hope to extend the shot-stopper’s contract.
Samassa has established himself as the Ligue 2 club’s number 1 and has clocked up 18 games in the French second tier so far this season.
With the team chasing promotion to Ligue 1 – Guingamp sit fifth at present – disruptive interest in the France Under-20 goalkeeper will not be welcome.
Nevertheless, if Samassa does not extend a deal which expires in 2013, Guingamp could choose to cash in.
Samassa has long been tipped for big things and has represented France at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 level.
