Despite sources in France insisting that Newcastle have made an offer for Lyon full back Aly Cissokho, the player himself believes there have been no concrete developments over his future.
Cissokho came close to leaving the Stade Gerland over the summer and has long claimed that playing in the English Premier League would be something of a dream.
And with Lyon needing to sell as many as two players in the current transfer window to balance the books, a reasonable bid for Cissokho looks sure to be accepted.
The 24-year-old however is concentrating on the task at hand and not letting himself become distracted by constant transfer chatter.
"There is nothing concrete yet", Cissokho told L’Equipe.
"I will talk with the club this week.
"Since the last transfer window there have been a lot of rumours, but I have not taken any notice."
