Wolfsburg boss Felix Magath is closing on the signature of Portuguese winger Vieirinha from Greek giants PAOK Salonika.

Magath is desperate to bolster his squad in the current transfer window and Wolfsburg have agreed to pay around €4M for the 25-year-old.

Vieirinha is now en route to Germany to undergo a medical with Wolfsburg and discuss personal terms for a move to the Volkswagen Arena.

Magath has already welcomed three fresh faces to the club. Petr Jiracek arrived from Viktoria Plzen, Ferhan Hasani from FK Shkendija and Slobodan Medojevic via FK Vojvodina.

Vieirinha joined PAOK in 2008 and has made well over a hundred appearances for the northern Greece outfit.

He started his career at FC Porto, although failed to find a spot in the first team.
