Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti is confident that the club will bag some big name signings in the current transfer window despite being snubbed by David Beckham.
The 36-year-old Englishman is expected to sign a new contract with MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy shortly after concluding that uprooting his family from California to move to the French capital would be undesirable.
PSG have also been in the hunt for Real Madrid schemer Kaka, Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez and AC Milan star Alexandre Pato – none of those transfers look close to fruition however.
Ancelotti though is not worried just yet.
"We want to improve the team, as I said before, it’s good, but it’s possible to improve the team", said the former Chelsea manager.
"The club is ready to recruit new players. We have time.
"There is still the possibility that new players are coming."
