Lille have ruled out selling in-demand striker Moussa Sow in the current transfer window.
Sow has been linked with English giants Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, while Turkish outfit Fenerbahce have just submitted an official bid for the 25-year-old.
But despite Sow being less prolific in front of goal this season than last – in the previous campaign the Senegal striker top scored for Lille and helped the club to the Ligue 1 title – Rudi Garcia’s men will not play ball over a departure this month.
"Indeed, we received an offer from Fenerbahce last night", admitted Lille director Frederic Paquet, before going on to quash reports of an agreement with the Yellow Canaries.
"But we did not respond because it does not interest us.
"I do not know where information suggesting there was an agreement comes from.
"Our position remains the same.
"Moussa is staying here and the senior players will not leave this winter."
Sow is under contract with Lille until 2013, raising speculation that he could depart in the summer if failing to agree a new deal.
