Inter star Wesley Sneijder has played down talk he could move from the Nerazzurri in the January transfer window in the face of continuing speculation linking the Dutchman with Manchester United.

The creative midfielder has long been a target for Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and a potential deal was scuppered in the summer due to Sneijder’s wage demands.

Inter are thought to remain open to selling the Holland star, but it is unlikely coach Claudio Ranieri would sanction such a deal in mid-season.

And this has been echoed by Sneijder himself, who cannot envisage an exit before the summer.

"If I must give a percentage on it, I am 90 per cent certain I will stay", said Sneijder to Voetbal International

"I enjoy myself here at the moment and at this point I don’t have to choose anything.

"I can’t say that I am 100 per cent certain because something unexpected can always happen", added Sneijder, leaving the door ever so slightly open.
