The agent of AC Milan left back Taye Taiwo has denied fielding any offer for his client from Arsenal.
It had been suggested that the Gunners were keen on the Nigerian international as they grapple with injury problems which have left them chronically short of full backs, particularly on the left flank.
And Taiwo, who fell out of favour at the Rossoneri almost instantly after arriving in the summer on a free transfer from Marseille, was speculated to be on Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger’s wanted list.
But while Fabio Parisi, Taiwo’s agent, has heard the talk, he has nothing concrete to report.
"I’ve not got big news about the boy", said Parisi.
"Arsenal? That is just rumours.
"I don’t know if the Gunners are looking for a full back, but no official offers have arrived from London."
