Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed the appointment of Paul Clement as his new assistant manager at Paris Saint-Germain.
Clement worked with the Italian at Chelsea and had most recently been serving as Steve Kean’s number two at English Premier League side Blackburn Rovers.
Ancelotti has been keen to shape his own backroom staff since landing at the Parc des Princes and is delighted to have secured the coach.
"Clement was my assistant at Chelsea, I have a good relationship with him", explained the former Blues boss.
"He will do a good job here.
"He will start next week. He will be my assistant, just as Claude [Makelele]. He has the experience, the know-how and a lot of motivation."
