Wealthy La Liga side Malaga are thought to have offered €10M for Borussia Dortmund striker Lucas Barrios.
The Paraguayan hitman has been impressive with Jurgen Klopp’s team and his exploits have caught the eye of Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini.
Malaga lavished millions on the transfer market in the summer, bringing in the likes of Santi Cazorla and Ruud van Nistelrooy, but have still contrived to struggle to find the back of the net.
Indeed, Pellegrini’s men have managed just 20 goals in their 16 La Liga games so far, a whopping 30 less than Real Madrid.
And Malaga think Barrios may well be the answer the the team’s goalscoring woes.
The Paraguay star is under contract with Dortmund until 2014.
