Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has vowed to field a strong side against Leeds United in the FA Cup this evening as he knows the importance of quickly bouncing back from defeat.

Wenger’s men lost their last match at Fulham in the Premier League and now, with Leeds the visitors to the Emirates Stadium, have the opportunity to get back to winning ways at once.

The Frenchman could have been forgiven for resting a number of players, but he is determined that a strong team must be on show, despite having handed Robin van Persie a holiday in Dubai which will mean the Dutchman misses out.

"We just lost a game in the league at Fulham which gave us a lot of regrets, so we want to respond quickly", said Wenger.

"I will play a strong side, a normal side.

"Our target is to win the next game and the next game is the FA Cup."

Arsenal met Leeds in last year’s competition and the Gunners needed a replay to see off the Championship outfit. Wenger will be hoping for a clean kill this time around.
