Johan Cruyff believes that Lionel Messi could win as many as seven FIFA Ballon d’Ors.
Messi is competing for the 2011 accolade with Barcelona team-mate Xavi and Real Madrid hotshot Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 24-year-old has already picked up consecutive Golden Balls in 2009 and 2010 and should he triumph once again, which seems likely, then it would be the wizard’s third in a row.
Yet this is nothing compared to what Messi could achieve, according to Cruyff.
"It confirms that he’s is by far the best player in the world", said the Dutchman ahead of Messi’s expected third triumph.
"Probably he’ll win five, six or seven.
"He is incomparable, he’s in a very special group."
