Sochaux schemer Marvin Martin has revealed that he has always dreamed of playing for Paris Saint-Germain.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs, with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believed to be a fan, while Newcastle, in keeping with their policy of buying French talents, have also been mooted to hold an interest.

But Martin could end up remaining in Ligue 1 next season, especially if PSG answer his call.

"Even if I put all the big French clubs on the same level as Marseille or Lyon, Paris Saint-Germain is the club where I’ve always wanted to play and grow one day", admitted the midfielder to Le Pays.

"I was born in Paris. I am a Parisian.

"When I was little, I went to the stadium and it was a childhood dream to one day play for this team."

Martin is set to be in demand in the summer and it appears unlikely Sochaux can keep hold of the talent.

And the schemer’s stock could rise even higher if he travels to Euro 2012 with Laurent Blanc’s France squad.
