Queens Park Rangers have confirmed the appointment of Mark Hughes as manager.
Hughes succeeds Neil Warnock, who was sacked following a poor run of form which saw the Loftus Road outfit slump to 17th in the Premier League.
The Welshman has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with QPR.
Hughes was most recently in charge of another London club, Fulham, but left citing a lack of ambition, something he does not feel will be a problem at QPR.
"I’m fully aware of the challenge in the short and long term and I am genuinely excited by the ambition of the owners, said Hughes.
