Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli is out of the reach of Serie A clubs, with his agent placing an asking price of €60M or €70M on his client’s head.
The livewire Italian striker has continued to be linked with a return to Italy with both AC Milan and Inter since landing at the Citizens, but the 21-year-old is happy at Eastlands.
And his agent Mino Raiola is talking about an extended stay in England rather than a potential move back to Serie A, which he believes is unlikely to happen.
"He feels good in Manchester and perhaps he will extend his contract there", Raiola told La Nazione.
"My feeling is that it will not be easy for him to return to Serie A. He is too big for Italy, in every sense.
"Mario has to go back as the top of the class. Whoever wants him has to bet everything on him and welcome him like [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic, [Lionel] Messi, or [Samuel] Eto’o.
"But if Inter and AC Milan are having trouble finding €30M to spend on Carlos Tevez, how can they pay €60M or €70M for Balotelli?
"This is the value of Balotelli, he is the number one, he will become one of the strongest in the world. City won’t give him away."
