Juventus are dreaming of a summer swoop for Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Antonio Conte’s Bianconeri are long time admirers of Bale, but well understand taking the Welshman from White Hart Lane could prove mission impossible.

Nevertheless, flying high in Serie A and looking likely to be in next season’s Champions League, Juventus will test the water and see if business can be done for the 22-year-old.

While the Bianconeri may not be able to turn Spurs’ heads with a bid for Bale, the hope in Turin is that the left back-cum-left winger may be attracted by the prospect of a switch to Italy sufficiently to make clear his wish to move.

Juventus have also penciled in Internacional striker Leandro Damiao, Chelsea misfit Fernando Torres and Real Madrid goal-getter Gonzalo Higuain as possible additions.

The Bianconeri hope to snap up at least one of Bale, Damiao, Torres and Higuain as the big summer signing which, along with a Champions League spot, would announce their return to the very pinnacle of European football.
