Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has backed his side to win this season’s Bundesliga title.
The Dutchman has been impressed with Schalke’s consistency and has become convinced that if that continues, then the only way for the club is up.
The Ruhr giants currently sit just three points behind top side Bayern Munich and level with rivals Borussia Dortmund.
"Of course we can be champions", Huntelaar told Kicker.
"We have consistently picked up points and if we keep on this course then we have a chance.
"Especially when you can move up in a positive spiral."
Huntelaar has scored 15 goals in this season’s Bundesliga.
