Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has quashed talk that Brazilian midfielder Kaka could be sold this month.
Paris Saint-Germain have money to spend and have eyed Kaka, with the French club’s new coach Carlo Ancelotti enjoying a strong relationship with the player, having bossed him previously at AC Milan.
But despite a number of lacklustre performances in a white shirt, Mourinho is not thinking of cashing in.
Indeed, the Portuguese has stressed that he is holding fast to his statement from the very first day of the 2011/12 season: that he wants no one to arrive and no one to depart.
Asked about talk Kaka could move to PSG, Mourinho was clear.
"Nothing has changed", said the Real Madrid manager.
"We said we wanted to stay with the same players as we had on the first day of the season and this is still our intention.
"It is true that the market is open and will remain so for another couple of weeks, but we don’t want to do anything, neither buy nor sell."
