Roman Pavlyuchenko’s agent has held the door open for his client to move to Russian Premier League outfit Rubin Kazan.
The striker is keen to quit Tottenham Hotspur in the current transfer window but, despite attracting much interest, is still at White Hart Lane.
Pavlyuchenko’s agent Oleg Artemov recently blasted Spurs for demanding too much money for the former Spartak Moscow man.
And Artemov, who has been working overtime to find his client a new club, has admitted that Rubin Kazan could be the answer to his prayers.
"Rubin are a great team and Kurban Berdyev is a great coach", said Artemov, responding to news of the 2009 Russian Premier League champions’ interest.
"Signing with Rubin would not be a bad option for Pavlyuchenko. I have spoken to Berdyev recently, but there has not been anything concrete yet.
"But it may well be that Roman can continue his career at Rubin."
