Second choice Barcelona goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto has signed an extended contract with the Catalan club.
Pinto, who landed at the Camp Nou in 2008, has agreed to ink a deal running until 2013 with Josep Guardiola’s men.
The 36-year-old has not played for the Blaugrana in La Liga this season, though he has been trusted in the Copa del Rey.
Indeed, Pinto has clocked up five appearances in the cup so far.
He is expected to be between the sticks for Barcelona’s Copa del Rey quarter-final second leg clash against Real Madrid this evening.
