English full back Scott Sutter has emerged as a target for Premier League outfit Blackburn Rovers.
Sutter has spent the last nine and a half years plying his trade in Switzerland’s Super League and spoke to Inside Futbol in 2009 about his experiences. This season however, he has fallen out of favour at current club Young Boys.
The Berne-based side have granted the right back permission to travel to Ewood Park to see if an agreement over personal terms can be thrashed out with Steve Kean’s relegation battlers.
“I have no future with YB”, said Sutter to Blick.ch.
“I want to go back to my homeland”, he added.
“I’ve seen the Super League after nine-and-a-half years.”
