Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has revealed that he could splash the cash before the winter transfer window closes.
The Potters are competing hard in the Premier League this season, while they face a date with Spanish giants Valencia in the Europa League.
And despite spending money in the summer on the likes of Peter Crouch and Cameron Jerome, and the club’s chairman Peter Coates indicating he felt the window would be quiet, Stoke boss Pulis has ruled nothing out.
"Never believe chairmen! We’ll see", said Pulis.
"We are very open to going either way.
"If there is an opportunity and we think it is a good one, that will never cease at this football club.
"I think there is always that little bit of room to do some business, but it has to be the right bit of business."
