Dutch shot-stopper Tim Krul is happy to remain with Newcastle despite stirring much interest in his services with a string of fine performances this season.
Krul has risen to the task of Newcastle number 1 with aplomb and demonstrated just why manager Alan Pardew does not have to enter the transfer market for another goalkeeper.
The 23-year-old has kept a number of impressive clean sheets, including against Manchester United, Arsenal and local rivals Sunderland.
And he is aiming to continue doing the same for the Magpies.
"I’m playing for the club I’ve always wanted to play for", Krul told BBC Newcastle, speaking of his pride at wearing the club’s shirt.
"I’ve been working hard for five or six years to be where I am now.
"I know where I am at, I’m loving life at the moment.
"Sixth in the league, we couldn’t wish for much more than that."
