Zenit St. Petersburg have emerged as serious players in the race to snap up Milos Krasic from Juventus.
Krasic has been offered to a number of clubs across Europe as he looks to end what has become a nightmare spell in Turin.
Despite the Serbian winger making a positive impression with the Bianconeri last season, this year has seen Antonio Conte preferring other options.
The situation is even more baffling because Juventus received enquiries for Krasic in the summer transfer window from Manchester City and Chelsea, but rebuffed these approaches.
Now though the Serie A giants are prepared to let Krasic leave for the right price.
Zenit are willing to pay €9M for the former CSKA Moscow man, but Juventus believe €14M is a fair assessment of the player’s value.
Krasic had been cold on the idea of returning to Russia and it remains to be seen whether he will change that stance.
