Former Arsenal and Birmingham midfielder Aleksandar Hleb is at Olympiacos’ offices and on the verge of a deal which would take him to Greece.
The Super League champions have already signed Colin Kazim-Richards on loan from Galatasaray until the end of the season – Olympiacos will also have the option to take the Turkey international on a permanent deal.
And Hleb is hoping to join the London-born striker in Athens.
Hleb is expected to sign for Olympiacos tomorrow as a free agent following the cancellation of his contract with Spanish giants Barcelona.
The 30-year-old had most recently been on loan at Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg, but failed to convince manager Felix Magath to pursue a deal.
