Former Italian striker Fabrizio Ravanelli has revealed that he would love to coach Marseille in future.
The former Juventus hitman played at the Stade Velodrome for Marseille between 1998 and 2000 and thoroughly enjoyed his time in French football.
So much so that even now the Ligue 1 giants hold a special place in Ravanelli’s heart.
“My dream is to become a great coach and coach Marseille, since Marseille is always in my heart”, Ravanelli told French radio station RMC.
“I lived incredible moments there. I hope to become Marseille coach soon, because it is a club that I like”, he added.
Ravanelli called time on an illustrious playing career in 2005, bowing out at Italian side Perugia.
He represented the likes of Juventus, Middlesbrough and Lazio, in addition to Marseille, in a successful stint as a striker.
