Shanghai Shenhua have completed the signing of Didier Drogba.
The powerful Ivorian striker has been a free agent since leaving Chelsea last month following eight successful years at Stamford Bridge.
Drogba had long been assumed to be on his way to link up with former Chelsea team-mate Nicolas Anelka at the Blue Devil, and now the news is official.
Drogba has signed a contract running until the end of 2014 with the Chinese Super League club.
It is believed he will earn €248,000 per week at Shanghai Shenhua.
The 34-year-old signed off his Chelsea career in style last season, winning both the Champions League and the FA Cup.
