Trabzonspor are hoping to quickly sort out the future of star striker Burak Yilmaz, who is wanted by Lazio, Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham.

Yilmaz was on fire in last season’s Turkish Super Lig, finding the net 32 times in just 30 games for the Black Sea Storm.

It is little surprise that his displays at the Avni Aker Stadium have attracted interest from across Europe and Trabzonspor are resigned to losing the 26-year-old for the right price.

Concrete interest in the Turkey international is coming from clubs in the English Premier League and Italy’s Serie A.

And now that bids have gone in for the player, his time with Trabzonspor seems to be coming to an end – Yilmaz has a decision to make.

“Lazio, Tottenham and Fulham would love to have him, so we’ll see what happens”, said Trabzonspor president Sadri Sener.

“We hope that this will quickly be finalised”, he concluded.

Yilmaz himself is also reconciled to a move away from Turkey in his quest to improve as a player.

“I spoke with the technical staff and the president talked and told them that I will grow as a player.

“It was a good quiet conversation. I hope to soon know my new club and I want to thank everyone at Trabzonspor.”
