Portugal talisman Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted he is well-equipped to handle the pressure in tonight’s crunch Euro 2012 quarter-final against Spain.
Paulo Bento’s men meet Vicente del Bosque’s side in what promises to be a thrilling encounter, with a place in the Euro 2012 final up for grabs.
For Portugal to book a spot, Ronaldo will surely need to produce moments of world class brilliance, something the Real Madrid star is well aware of.
However, he is not feeling the pressure ahead of the occasion.
"Over the years, you get better at dealing with certain situations", the Portuguese told UEFA.
"Sincerely, up until now, I’m not feeling the pressure of playing against Spain or any other team because this is part of my life.
"I have already been doing this for more than ten years and so I must have become accustomed to it already.
"I will always have responsibility, but pressure? Not much."
