Clarence Seedorf is closing in on making a decision over where he will play his football after parting company with AC Milan.

The Dutchman has been training with Los Angeles Galaxy, though his spokeswoman has insisted that the fact should not be taken as notice that he will sign for the MLS outfit.

The 36-year-old has been a speculated arrival in Brazil for some time and Botafogo are known to be hot on his heels – but Seedorf has offers from across the world.

And Seedorf’s spokeswoman Deborah Martin has explained the veteran schemer has yet to come to a concrete decision over his future.

"Clarence is very close to taking a decision", Martin told Lancenet.

"Monday is the latest that he will make his choice.

"I can tell you that he has really enjoyed his time in California. He has had fun training with LA Galaxy, but I can’t say whether this is crucial in taking a decision about his future."
