English Premier League outfit Fulham have signed Croatian forward Mladen Petric on a free transfer.
The 31-year-old saw his deal at Bundesliga club Hamburg expire this summer and has opted to make the move to England.
Petric has played under current Cottagers boss Martin Jol previously, from the Dutchman’s time in charge of Hamburg.
That was a factor which helped to push Petric towards signing for Fulham.
"I’m very happy to be part of what is happening at Fulham. The club is doing very well and that was why I decided to come here", the Croatian told Fulham’s official website.
"I know the manager well and I know that he is always looking to strengthen his attacking options and I hope that we can do even better next season", he added.
Petric made 98 appearances for Hamburg, scoring 38 goals in the process. He joined the northern German side from Borussia Dortmund in 2008.
