Talks over talented Uruguayan schemer Gaston Ramirez are taking place with two clubs, the director general of the player’s current side Bologna has admitted.

Ramirez has been the subject of much interest from a number of the game’s biggest sides over the last 12 months, but believed to be heading the queue for the 21-year-old are Liverpool, Juventus, Inter and Napoli.

The Uruguay international is widely expected to leave Bologna this summer – if the price is right – but the Rossoblu are determined to extract the maximum fee possible from the player’s sale.

And that figure must be north of €20M.

"There are two open negotiations, but they do not reflect either our expectations, or his", said Bologna director general Roberto Zanzi to Radio Kiss Kiss when questioned about the in-demand Ramirez.

"In Italy, I can say that there is one club that has enquired or made a concrete approach, including negotiations and a dialogue for the player", he added.

Zanzi also hinted at how much will have to be paid for the exciting goalscoring midfielder.

"We have assumed a figure and no one has equalled this.

"€20M? Yes, to get Gaston Ramirez, this could be a basis for negotiations."

Ramirez is under contract with Bologna until 2016. He made 33 appearances in Serie A last season for the Rossoblu, chipping in with eight goals and five assists.
