Veteran Brazilian defender Lucio has agreed to part ways with Italian giants Inter.
Lucio has appeared to be heading towards the exit door at the San Siro for some time and he has spoken to Inter to dissolve a contract which had been set to run until 2014.
The 34-year-old centre back joined Inter from Bayern Munich in 2009 and instantly helped the Nerazzurri to win the Champions League in 2010.
He has been an ever-present for the side since signing, making 34 appearances in the club’s troubled Serie A campaign last season.
Speculation is now rife over Lucio’s next move, with Juventus believed to have offered him a contract worth €2.5M per season to make the move to Turin.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain made an enquiry about the defender just a few weeks ago and could rekindle their interest in the player.
