New Paris Saint-Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi has hinted that the French club’s sporting director Leonardo has promised that there will be a number of further signings at the Parc des Princes this summer.
Lavezzi passed his medical and quickly put the finishing touches to a four-year contract in the French capital yesterday, being handed the number 11 shirt in the process.
He is thought to have cost PSG round €30M to sign from Serie A outfit Napoli.
And the forward is expecting that he will be joined by yet more big names when Carlo Ancelotti gets pre-season training under way.
"Leonardo has promised me a lot", said Lavezzi as he was presented in Paris.
"But I cannot talk about it", he smiled when pressed.
Money is no object for PSG and the club have a €100M transfer kitty for the summer.
The French giants have already bid €46M for AC Milan defender Thiago Silva, but backed out when the Rossoneri demanded €65M.
