Udinese have received a boost by convincing Antonio Di Natale to extend his contract with the club.

The veteran striker has been Udinese’s most consistent goalscorer in recent years; in fact he has netted 80 times in Serie A in the last three seasons alone.

And flourishing at the club, Di Natale has chosen to continue his stay.

The 34-year-old has extended his contract with Udinese until 2014, making it likely he will finish his career at the side.

Di Natale was on target at this summer’s Euro 2012 when called upon by Italy.

He scored the Azzurri’s goal in their 1-1 group stage clash against eventual winners Spain.
