Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo has admitted he will be keeping a close eye on the transfer market in case top quality players become available this summer.
The Blues boss has already snapped up Eden Hazard and Marko Marin, but more arrivals could be on the cards for the Italian.
Di Matteo was at pains to stress he is happy with his two new faces however, with Kevin De Bruyne also set to be run the rule over; although the Belgian was officially signed in January, he spent the last six months of last season on loan at Genk.
"Hazard’s a wonderful player, for his young age he has achieved a lot, he has already been named Ligue 1 Player of the Year, but we shouldn’t forget he is still young, but he will bring a lot of creativity to the side", Di Matteo told his club’s official site.
"Marin is another exciting player, he’s an offensive attacking midfielder/winger, who can play in various positions which is helpful to the team and myself, and he is another one we will be looking looking to integrate into the side", he added.
But if opportunities to sign the right players arise, Chelsea will not be found wanting, the former West Brom boss also insisted.
"I’m pretty happy with the squad but we’ll monitor the market and see what opportunities there are to improve the team. It’s not just a question of how much you spend but attracting the right players."
