Lyon centre back Dejan Lovren has insisted that there is nothing concrete behind chatter he could join Barcelona this summer.
Indeed, the Croatian defender is happy to remain at the Stade Gerland, though he admits he is highly ambitious to add to his trophy count.
Given Lyon’s need to raise cash after finishing outside the Champions League spots, Lovren has been identified as a player who could leave for the right price, though the French giants are understood to be keen to keep hold of the highly-rated 22-year-old.
And that is what Lovren wants too, especially with Barcelona talk "just words".
"I am at Lyon. I think I will stay. I feel like that, but of course it depends on the club and anything can happen in football", the defender told Les Gones’ official site.
"Barcelona? It’s just words, there is nothing concrete. But it’s nice to hear.
"Me, I want to show more than I have already. I feel I can still do better.
"I want to win more trophies. A single title is not enough."
