Queens Park Rangers have agreed a fee to sign South Korean midfielder Park Ji-sung from Manchester United according to multiple sources in England.

Mark Hughes’ men are reported to have thrashed out a deal with Sir Alex Ferguson’s side which would see an initial £2M paid for the 31-year-old, with that figure rising as high as £5M if a number of add-ons are activated.

The hard working midfielder has found his playing time increasing cut at Old Trafford and made just 17 appearances in the Premier League last season.

Park signed for Manchester United in 2005, joining the English giants from Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven.

He has featured regularly with South Korea, clocking up 100 caps over eleven years in the national team. Park played with the country at the 2002, 2006 and 2010 World Cups.

The 31-year-old has picked up four Premier League titles, three League Cups, one Champions League and one FIFA Club World Cup at the Red Devils.

For QPR the signing of Park would be a coup and a boost in their bid to establish themselves as a fixture in the English top flight.
