As expected, Seydou Keita is joining Chinese outfit Dalian Aerbin following his departure from Barcelona.
The 32-year-old Mali midfielder ended a hugely successful four years at the Camp Nou recently and will now head to China on a lucrative contract.
Keita is believed to be set to earn around €7M per year with Dalian Aerbin; in some quarters the figure has even been suggested to be as high as €10M.
The talented player is signing a two-year contract.
Keita will be charged with helping Dalian Aerbin to survive in the Chinese Super League – the club were only promoted to the top flight last season.
At present the Chinese side sit 11th in the country’s 16-team league.
Keita is expected to be presented to the press on 16th July.
