Intelligent playmaker Kaka is desperate to secure first-team football and is believed to be willing to settle for reduced wages in order to garner the interest of teams like AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.
Kaka has not enjoyed regular playing time at Real Madrid ever since his move from the Rossoneri in 2009, due to various injury issues. The 2007 FIFA Player of the Year featured in 26 games in La Liga last season, but many were substitute appearances.
Even though the Brazilian is still in Jose Mourinho’s plans for the upcoming season, it seems that Kaka does not want to stay at the Galacticos and wants to move on. However, his price tag and large salary are both are stumbling blocks for potential suitors.
It is for this reason that the 30-year-old is looking to significantly reduce his wages in order to engineer a move away from Los Blancos. The attacking midfielder currently earns around €10M a year and is ready to take a 40-50% pay cut.
The former Ballon d’Or winner is desperate for first-team football and it seems that he is doing his level best to persuade former club AC Milan to come to his rescue.
Even though it is believed Kaka will be ready to settle for a contract worth €6M a year, the Rossoneri may still not go for their ex-star player as Real Madrid’s €25M valuation could prove to be too much for the San Siro outfit.
It seems that any decision about the Brazilian’s future will be decided after a meeting with coach Mourinho.
Clubs like PSG and Manchester City have shown interest in the Brazilian magician, but it remains to be seen whether Kaka stays at Real Madrid or leaves Los Blancos after a three-year stint at the club.
