Fiorentina will consider selling highly-rated forward Stevan Jovetic this summer – but only for offers in excess of €30M.
While La Viola have been consistent in their desire to keep hold of the 22-year-old, they are realistic that a large offer could cause a rethink, and there has been speculation that English Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea want the Montenegro star.
But the Serie A outfit will only sell a player they believe can be as influential as Roma icon Francesco Totti for big money.
"Since the start of the season we’ve always said that we will not sell Jovetic", Fiorentina technical director Daniele Prade told Sport Italia, before explaining why this position has softened.
"There is an appointment with the player when we could tell him that if there is an offer over a certain amount then we will take to the table to discuss it", added Prade.
However, despite media reports in England which have placed Jovetic on the radar of both Arsenal and Chelsea, no bids have yet landed on Fiorentina’s doorstep.
"So far we have received no offer for him", explained Prade.
"He is a top player and we’d only consider proposals above €30M.
"He has the potential to be as influential as Roma legend Francesco Totti."
